Outpatient Surgery is especially suitable for children. Children experience less stress because the Center offers a warm, personalized setting. We pay particular attention to their needs, allowing parents to stay with their children right up to the time of surgery, then again in our recovery room.
Please feel free to bring your child's favorite stuffed animal or security blanket for added reassurance.

A stroke occurs when arteries that supply blood to the brain are blocked or damaged. When a blood clot or bleeding occurs as a result, vital areas of the brain are damaged. And, the longer the bleeding occurs, the more damage to the brain. So, its important to recognize the symptoms of a stroke: sudden numbness or weakness of the face, arm or leg (can affect one side of the body); sudden confusion or trouble understanding and speaking; sudden vision problems; sudden trouble walking, dizziness and loss of balance; and sudden severe headaches.
